Open Auction

The open source solution to help you manage your Auction.

The Open Auction is an excel spreadsheet, specifically designed to help you plan and execute your auction. It has been created with non-profit organizations in mind. Its only requirement is MS Excel.

The Open Auction consists of several worksheets; each one designed to manage a different part of the auction process. The system helps with the following areas:

  • Manage vendors and their donations.
  • Manages attendees and paddle numbers.
  • Records bids on live auction items.
  • Records bids on silent auction items.
  • Manages raffle items, 50/50 draws, and cash donations.
  • Generates invoices for checkout.
  • Controls Expenses.
  • Generates auction items lists and silent auction bid forms.
  • Generates thank you letters with results from the auction.

Hi, I just downloaded the software today and can't seem to get the Live auction items to show up on the Live auction tab. I can enter them in and categorize them on the All Items tab, but when I go to the Live auction tab, none of my items show up. The Silent auction tab works fine. Any more

Hi, Is there a way to make the attendees' email addresses show up on the receipt at checkout? I'd like to put their street address information in this line as we need that for payment purposes but would like for it to be included on the receipt as well. Thanks, Angela

It appears that the digitally signed certificate has expired for Open Auction which makes it difficult to use. While we investigate a permanent fix, here is a workaround to get you going. These instructions will guide to to remove the digital certificate. What this means is that every time more
