The Open Auction is an excel spreadsheet, specifically designed to help you plan and execute your auction. It has been created with non-profit organizations in mind. Its only requirement is MS Excel.

The Open Auction consists of several worksheets; each one designed to manage a different part of the auction process. The system helps with the following areas:

  • Manage vendors and their donations.
  • Manages attendees and paddle numbers.
  • Records bids on live auction items.
  • Records bids on silent auction items.
  • Manages raffle items, 50/50 draws, and cash donations.
  • Generates invoices for checkout.
  • Controls Expenses.
  • Generates auction items lists and silent auction bid forms.
  • Generates thank you letters with results from the auction.

What version of Microsoft Excel is required to run OpenAuction? I have Office 2000 and keep getting a Visual Basic error when attempting to use the software.

I downloaded the software and it came up in Excel, but when I click on the shortcuts, it give me a error that it cannot run the macros. I enable them and it still won't work. Any ideas, I really like the looks of this software - I hope that is will be the answer to my auction chaos! HELP!

Run-time Error '5'

When I go to enter an item, I get a Microsoft Visual Basic Run-time Error. It says 'Invalid procedure call or argument'. Can you tell me what might be causing this? Thanks!
